Father’s Day at The Golf Lounge

Its Father’s Day on Sunday and we will have our traditional Fathers Day packages running.  These are popular every year as it allows fathers and kids of all ages to get together and have a good time. Not everyone has to play so if there are non golfers in the family then it doesn’t matter, just come and enjoy.  Under 18’s are allowed until 8pm so everyone is welcome!

The World Cup

The World Cup kicks off tomorrow at 9pm and we are the perfect place to watch the games!  We have decked the place out and put on some cracking offers so its sure to be a great atmosphere for all the games.  We are pleased to say we will be showing the full England v Italy on Saturday night but there will be restricted entry after 11.30pm so come sharp.  We are even keeping the kitchen open until 10pm if you want some food before the game.

US Open Golf

Not content with showing The World Cup we will also have US Open coverage throughout the weekend.  We have Pinehurst No. 2 on the simulators if you fancy your own US Open here!

I’m glad that’s the Valentines blog over for another year.

The Open 2013

The Open returns to Muirfield this weekend and it looks like it’s going to be another cracker of an Open.  There are some great looking three balls on Thursday however we think the Faldo, Watson and Couples three ball looks the most interesting.  It would be nice to see one of them give the youngsters a run for their money!

You can find out if they do at The Golf Lounge as we have coverage all weekend showing on all the TVs throughout!

Not only will we have coverage all weekend but we are also running a closest to the pin competition from noon Friday until 5pm Sunday, subject to booth availability.  The top prize for the closest over all 3 days will win a golfing night out with at The Golf Lounge with Pilsner Urquell and we will also have prizes for the closest shot on each day and any holes in one!  T&C’s apply, available from The Golf Lounge.
