With talk of snow and the clocks going back it can only mean one thing, winter is almost here. For golfers that means no evening tee times, frozen and occasionally snow-covered courses and the joy of winter greens.

Thankfully you can keep your (golf) balls warm and swing in shape by taking advantage of the following golf offers, no matter what the weather:

£10 per booth per hour until Noon (Monday – Wednesday only.)

All these offers run until the end of November (unless otherwise stated) so take advantage of them while you can. Offers cannot be combined so don’t be cheeky and try and get a double discount!

We hope everyone has had a good long weekend and for those who were at Sunday’s Levelone Alldayer we hope your heads are feeling better! This weekend is all about one thing; The Ryder Cup.

As expected we will have coverage all weekend and you are welcome to book a table to watch the golf. We don’t have tables left on Friday unfortunately but call us ASAP if you want to book a table for Saturday or Sunday.

Ryder Cup Sunday

As exciting as the Friday and Saturday will be we all know it comes down to the Sunday. Coverage starts at 4pm but the fun starts here from 2pm when we will have competitions throughout the day. Expect long drive and closest to the pin competitions as well as a few unusual competitions but you will have to join us to find out more! We will have prizes for best male, female and junior so all the family can join in. Remember under 18s have to be out by 8pm and accompanied by an adult but they are welcome until then.

 Win a night out at The Golf Lounge!

You can win a night out for you and 3 mates/family/strangers of your choice. You will have 2 hours of golf on one of our simulators as well as a main meal each. We will also include 2 rounds of Pilsner Urquell or soft drinks!

To win simply guess how many balls are in the jar! Closest guess wins and in the event of a tie the winner will be chosen at random.

Where will you be watching it ?

Next weekend 12 of Europe’s best golfers head to Medinah Country Club in Illinois to defend the Ryder Cup against the USA. If history is anything to go by its going to be weekend of amazing golf, drama, tears and (hopefully for Europe) cheers!

The 2012 Golf Lounge BBQ season is almost over. Over the past few months we have had people enjoying the free BBQ in the rain, wind, cloud and even some sun!

It's like Christmas in August...

Who else can’t believe it’s August already ? The weather is still ok for golf but in Scotland how knows what could happen ? Sweltering heat one day could turn to the heavens pouring down the next...

Pure Golf - Pure Pilsner

With only one day to go until the action gets underway at the 2012 British Open, we are giving you the opportunity to become a champion in your friends’ eyes by winning a bar tab for your group, courtesy of Pilsner Urquell, official beer of the Open.


To be in with a chance of winning, all you have to do is swing by The Golf Lounge this Friday and enter our Longest Drive Competition. The person with the longest drive will win a Pilsner Urquell bar tab for their group! So, the challenge has been set; can you go the distance?

Everything's in Good Spirits...

At The Golf Lounge we are always being asked what else we would recommend doing as part of a stag/hen/night out. How about starting your day out with a drinks tasting?

 The guys down at The Good Spirits Co have a private tasting room that can accommodate up to 30 people and its only a few minutes’ walk from The Golf Lounge.

Choose your drink from whisky, rum, bourbon, gin, vodka or even a mix and you will be taken through a fun 90 minute tasting session with a selection of your chosen spirit.

Prices vary but start from approximately £150 for 10 people. Combine that with our package 3 for the following day out.

The Golf Lounge - Easter All Dayer

After the great success of our series of Levelone All-Dayers last year we are kicking off this year’s season with an eggstravaganza (sorry) on Easter Sunday.

Things start at 2pm until late and over the day you will hear from 16 top DJs playing live as well as live sax and percussion.

Unfortunately we don’t have Augusta on the sims but we do have this Bay Hill, host to the Arnold Palmer Invitational this weekend.
